Negotiations Update
Your Bargaining Committee met with our Employer on Aug 23, 2010 to begin the Wage Re-Opener portion of our Collective Bargaining.
The completion of the Wage Re-Opener will finalize bargaining for the 2009/2011 Collective Agreement.
This meeting was to exchange opening positions on the increase to all salary grids in our Collective Agreement.
The Union opened with a 4% increase to all salary grids and the Employer countered with 0%.
Please be aware that these are opening positions and you will be updated as the negotiations progress.
