> There are 2 events upcoming that need the full support of Local 49:

> The first is a planning meeting for an upcoming rally. This meeting will take place on May 15 @ 17:30 at the First Presbyterian Church a 10025-105 St. (basement South Door). There will be pizza and pop available. Again this is to assist in the planning and assembling of picket signs for an event to take place on May 28.
This Meeting and Rally is very important for upcoming Bargaining!!

> The Health Care Worker Rally is the event planned for May 28 @ 16:00 at the U of A Hospital, 8440-112 St.. The Capital Health Board is meeting at 14:30-17:30 this day and representatives from the AUPE bargaining teams hope to obtain a place on the meeting Agenda. MLAs will be invited to attend as well.
